SENIOR PRODUCT DESIGNER · GOVERNMENT & ENTERPRISE UX
Bridging teams.
Enabling users.
Hi, I'm Roman.
I'm a Product Designer who believes the best products are built long before the first screen is designed.
Every product has a story. Sometimes it's a legacy platform that's become difficult to use. Sometimes it's a business trying to adapt to changing customer needs. Other times it's a team searching for clarity around a complex problem. Whatever the challenge, I believe successful products begin by understanding people, aligning business goals, and creating a shared vision.
For more than a decade, I've helped organizations modernize complex government and enterprise applications by connecting strategy, research, and design into a practical product development process. My role is to uncover opportunities, simplify complexity, and help teams make confident decisions that move products forward.
I enjoy working where disciplines intersect. Partnering with product managers, engineers, researchers, executives, subject matter experts, and users allows me to see problems from different perspectives and build solutions that balance business objectives with real human needs. The strongest products I've worked on weren't the result of a single idea—they were shaped by open collaboration, thoughtful conversation, and a willingness to challenge assumptions together.
Throughout my career, I've led discovery workshops, facilitated design discussions, mapped complex workflows, created scalable design systems, improved accessibility, and transformed research into product strategy. While the tools and technologies evolve, my approach remains the same: understand the problem, build alignment, prototype early, validate often, and design with intention.
I believe good design removes friction. Great design creates confidence. When users don't have to stop and think about how a product works, they can focus on what they came to accomplish. That's the standard I strive for with every project.
The case studies in this portfolio aren't simply collections of polished interfaces. They document the questions, decisions, tradeoffs, and collaboration behind each solution. They show how research became strategy, how strategy informed design, and how thoughtful product thinking helped organizations modernize complex systems while delivering better experiences for the people who rely on them every day.
